Venues in Forres are being asked to take part in a Doors Open Day with a difference this September.

Every year doors are opened to the public to allow them a look inside some of the region’s most iconic and exciting buildings. But, because of Coronavirus, it needs to take a digital turn this time.

This will allow people to chance to see inside from the comfort of their own home, using a computer, smartphone or tablet, and maintain social distancing.

The council has issued some Venues could consider making a virtual tour, which could be used as a marketing tool for them in the future. \

The council has issued some guidance and examples to help venues make their day digital.

If you’d like to take part in #DigiDoorsOpen, email doorsopenday@moray.gov.uk by 10 July.
