In April 2020, we became a Community Interest Company (CIC) to continue our aims as a social enterprise.
Being a CIC, it means we are a company limited by guarantee. We still have a need to have revenue, but profits are not paid out to shareholders or directors as dividends, they are paid back into the company to further our social aims.
As a social enterprise, we exist to provide benefits for the area, such as publishing information and news, collaborating with other local charities, community groups and businesses.

Comments about this website are encouraged and you can use the feedback form on our contact page. If you have any suggestions about things we could include or do to improve this website and the service it offers to our visitors please feel free to get in touch.
This website promotes the local area as a visitor destination by providing information about things to see and do, places to stay, eat and shop, and other things. It also serves the local community by publishing news and events.
The depth of information and frequent updates keeps us ranking well in search engines. We monitor this closely to provide value to contributors and advertisers.
We aim to constantly develop the sites and our target audience for the end of 2019 is to record 100,000 page views in a year, and we’re on track to do that.
We’re more than just a website
In 2019, we also acquired the magazine, Forres Focus. In 2021, we will relaunch this.
If you are interested in advertising on the website or in the magazines just e-mail us to discuss your needs.
