An Easter-themed bumper fun day in Grant Park was a huge success according to organisers, and there’s hope it may return.
With a varied selection of stalls, inflatable fun park and mini crazy golf, the free event was a hit with locals and stallholders.
Allan Murchison from Moray Markets said: “We have been asked for years to do our fun day In Forres and it was great to see the community come out and support too.
“We have had really great feedback from our stall holders with many looking for dates for the next one already. Several food producers actually sold out on the day and one even said on their Facebook they had their biggest day in sales ever!
“Speaking with the customers who came out, they were really positive about the event, with loads to do for the family and some really nice craft stalls too, all of which are local too. They were delighted for event happening in Forres and of course we got good feedback that the event was free entry which we do at all our events.
It was absolutely brilliant to see so much activity, not all ‘just for the kids’; so much variety of food available and amazing coffee vans and wonderful that there was no entry fee in the Public park space. Hope to hear in advance of the next one because not everyone is on social media. Thanks 😁
