Travellers are advised to avoid Aberdeen after the First Minister put it into lockdown today.
In her lunchtime briefing today (5 August), Nicola Sturgeon confirmed that 54 cases of coronavirus have been detected following a ‘cluster’ outbreak in the city.
Pubs, cafes and restaurants in Aberdeen have been told to close from 5pm today.
People who do not live in the city have advised not to travel into it, and any visitors in the city at the time of lockdown should follow guidance when they leave.
