Forres and Findhorn have been shortlisted to win the title of the most beautiful town or village in Scotland.
The competition, organised by travel website Hidden Scotland, lists 35 towns north of the border, including Plockton, Oban, Crail, Rosemarkie, Portree, Tobermory, Crovie and Pennan.
Last year, Forres was declared the most beautiful high street in Scotland, and came home with two wins at the Britain in Bloom awards.
