The crowds turned out to see the Christmas lights being switched on in Forres (3 December 2022). The weather was mild and dry, and entertainment was provided by Wave Radio, Elgin City Brass Band, Forres & District Pipe Band, and of course Santa himself.

Winter Wonderland
A Christmas market was held in the town hall between 10am and 4pm with a gingerbread house contest. The winning entry was ‘Hogwarts’.

The collective of 11 local craftspeople was open late in the Tolbooth

Wave Radio provided musical entertainment all day in the square.
