The former fishing village of Findhorn is situated about 4 miles from Forres, originally a busy port with trading ships it is now a peaceful little village ideal for a great relaxing break with miles of white sandy beaches and sand dunes to explore, the bay is also popular for various watersports.

Departing from Findhorn Marina, our 2 hour wildlife adventures take in the beautiful coastline, with the ever present chance of encountering some of the incredible wildlife, including: Bottlenose Dolphins, Seals, Harbour porpoise, Minke whales, Basking sharks and hundred of seabirds!
The village has two pubs offering pub lunches in a relaxed atmosphere, the Crown & Anchor and the Kimberly Inn which serves seafood and real ales, both are situated in the heart of the village across the road from the two main piers, the Bunty Chip Shop is definitely worth a visit and is open throughout the summer months.
On the outskirts of Findhorn village is the world famous Findhorn Foundation, a thriving holistic community and eco-village which is a haven for many from the hussle and bustle of daily life, visitors are welcome to walk around the community and see the various projects in action.
Within the Foundation there are an interesting selection of eco-friendly community buildings, including houses made out of old recycled whisky barrels, straw bails, grass roofs, organic gardens and they also have their own energy producing wind generator.

Moray Art Centre is a non-profit, centre for the arts running an annual local and international programme of exhibitions, events, classes and art residencies.
The environmentally built and designed centre is situated in the unique landscape of Findhorn Bay, Moray. Internally the new centre has been planned to be a vibrant and motivating environment which allows people to meet, discuss and generate a community of creativity.
The centre has three rentable teaching studios, four individual artist studios, a Community Gallery and in the near future a main hi-spec gallery.

Findhorn also has two caravan parks which cater to visitors throughout the year.
