A handful of businesses are making progress on plans to open in the town.
Plans were approved this week for the old TSB bank to be transformed into a fitness studio. The bank closed in April 2022.
A retail unit at Falconer Avenue that houses Design Floors will be split into two halves. The current occupant will reduce its retail space to half of its original size. The other half has been approved for a change of use to a coffee shop.
And work to add a Gregg’s franchise to the filling station on Nairn Road has started. Construction work is currently taking place, but the fuel pumps and shop remain open for business.
