The annual Scottish Poppy Appeal has started and organisers are asking the public to download poppies this year as they can’t operate their normal door-to-door and street collections.
Poppy Scotland have set up a website link to allow you to download a pre-printed poppy, or one for youngsters to colour in, to display in your window.
You can also donate when you do this.
Poppy Scotland says: ” Show your support for our Armed Forces community and donate, download and display a poppy in the window of your home during the Remembrance period.
“With thousands of our volunteers unable to collect due to the coronavirus restrictions, we need you to donate differently this year.
“We have created a downloadable poppy to print at home, and also a blank poppy that the kids, or anyone for that matter, can print and colour in.
“Place your poppy proudly in a window of your home, show your support for the 2020 Scottish Poppy Appeal, and for our Armed Forces community. Remember to share a picture of your poppy on social media using the hashtags #EveryPoppyCounts and #BehindThemAlways
