Pumpkin trail draws crowds to Cluny Hill for spell of Halloween fun

More than 200 people turned out out Grant Park today, some dressed in costume, to go in search of pumpkins on Cluny Hill in a spooky Halloween trail.

It was the second to be organised by Ecologia Youth Trust, based in Kinloss, with all proceeds going to their work to help disadvantaged young people in Kenya and Uganda.

Families from Forres, Elgin, Nairn, and even further afield, hiked up the hill to Nelson’s Tower and recorded the names of the pumpkins on a map before returning to Grant Park to see if they had won a prize.
