Former Forres runner attempts world record to raise £5000 for charities

A former Forres man in hoping to beat a world record and raise £5000 for charities close to his heart.

Kyle Greig, who used to run with Forres Harriers and now lives in Alford, is attempting to run the most miles un on a treadmill in 24 hours, a record currently set by a Norwegian in 2018 who ran just over 164 miles, the equivalent of six marathons, back to back.

Hi attempt is being livestreamed from the Aberdeen Sports Village and started just before 10am today.
