Antique jewellery and medals were among items stolen from a property in St Leonard’s Road on the morning of Tuesday 21 January.
Police are making enquiries into a housebreaking which occurred between 8.30 am and 1.15 pm, during which a number of items were stolen, including antique jewellery and medals. Many of these items are irreplaceable and hold a high sentimental value.
Detective Robert Graham of the North East CID Proactive Team said: “I urge anyone who was any information regarding this despicable crime or who may have seen any suspicious persons, vehicles or actions particularly in the woodlands of Cluny Hill to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 1622 of Tuesday 21 January 2020 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
