Over the winter period, we’re rounding up a list of warm spaces that are available to anyone who needs it.
- Tuesdays at Forres Baptist Church – Drop-in session every Tuesday between 10am and noon in the new hall. Free drinks and snack, toys for young children to play with, food and essentials pantry – just take what you need. All welcome.
- St Leonard’s Church – awaiting confirmation of times
- Fridays at Forres Town Hall – Meeting Point at 10am every Friday
- Forres Library – open Monday, Wednesday 10am to 5pm, Tuesday, Thursday 10am to 8pm, and Saturday 10-12 noon. Everyone welcome. Free wifi and PCs. Cafe on site. More information: http://www.moray.gov.uk/moray_standard/page_39966.html
- Thursdays at Rafford Village Hall – Souper Thursday, weekly soup lunches with choice of Carrot and Coriander, Chicken and Vegetable, and Roast Pepper with Red Lentils every week. Warm drinks will be served from 11:30am and soups will be served from noon. All are very welcome! Ends last Thursday in March.
As well as staying warm and reducing costs, these spaces offer a great opportunity to meet with old friends and make new ones.
