How much can you raise for Rotary Club’s big send-off quiz night?

The big Children in Need Quiz night is back at the Mosset Tavern.

This year is the 22nd quiz hosted by Rotary Club of Forres, and we’re helping them make this one a year to remember, as it’s likely to be the last.

The event will take place at the Mosset Tavern on 12 November starting at 7.30pm.

How much can you bring to the table?

The club are asking for people to come up with ideas for making this a bumper year for donations. What weird and wacky things can you do to raise a bit of extra cash for children in need?

The Rotary Club’s Children in Need quiz has raised more than £140,000 since it started in 2000.

What could you do to raise a few more pounds for needy children?

All funds raised by this quiz have gone to good causes locally, with half going to Children in Need and the rest distributed by us to local causes which might not fit the Children in Need criteria.

Last year we held a virtual quiz, but we’re back this year with a full-on, sit down, face-to-face quiz, and that means FREE STOVIES as well.

Free publicity in Forres Local for every fundraising team

This year, the Rotary Club have halved the entry fee to just £50, so register today, put down your ideas, and we’ll help you with publicity.

Every team that signs up will get a report on the Forres Local website, and support from the Rotary Club. We’ll keep a running total on the home page to keep the teams motivated.

If youre an employer, make up a team from your staff – or multiple teams, there’s been three teams from one company in the past – very competitive!

All you need to do is get a team together, get fundraising and turn up on the day – it’s such a good cause, there are unfortumately so many children still in need of your help.

There’s prizes for winning team (£200), runner-up, team with most donations and spot prizes.

The venue is the fabulous Mosset Tavern, where there will be up to 30 tables, sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Teams can be up to four people in a team. Adults only.
