In this episode, Darshan Hamilton and Deacon Sutcliffe interview Forres stalwart Alex Ross, born and bred in Forres, now retired from the police force but still very active in the community. The duo hear about two-letter car registrations, the big building company of Forres, the Culbin fire towers, and of course school life in the 1950s.

In this episode, Jack and Finlay Gray talk to their grandmother Elizabeth McArthur who arrived in Forres to marry a dairy farmer at Darnaway. She compares the area to her homeland in Dumfries, and remembers the differences between the two.
