Kinloss filling station has ‘loads’ of fuel despite scenes of panic buying

High demand on fuel has left the Greshop Filling Station in Forres without unleaded petrol for the weekend. However, the smaller Seapark Filling Station in Kinloss had plenty at 5:30pn on Saturday (25 September).

Motorists have been urged to buy fuel normally after scenes of panic buying across the country followed the national news that stocks are low.

Longer queues than normal were seen at the Seapark Filling Station. When we phoned them at 5:30pm to ask if they had any unleaded, they said they had ‘loads’.

It is understood a delivery is ‘possible’ at the Forres station tomorrow (Sunday), but not guaranteed.
