Beware the dragon that guards the walk to Nelson’s Tower

A 40-foot dragon has appeared in the woods on Cluny Hill guarding the entrance to Nelson’s Tower!

The mysterious beast is the work of carver Pawel Drozd, who was commissioned by Forres Features, the company behind Colours of Cluny, to carve the fallen tree as a surprise for walkers in the popular woodlands as they walk up to Nelson’s Tower.

Pawel said: “Pictures don’t give it justice, so go ahead and have a walk up Cluny Hill and while you’re there it’s worth visiting Nelson Tower.”

The tower is open from Friday to Monday from 2pm to 4pm, until the end of September, that’s only one more weekend to go!
