Tolbooth Street restaurant and bar looks set for re-opening as new signs appear over door

A popular bar and restaurant looks set to reopen after new signs went up and adverts for staff appeared at the building formerly known as Krystoff’s.

The two-storey building at 3 Tolbooth Street has traditionally housed a restaurant on the upper floor with and a bar downstairs. The new signs say ‘The White Hart Restaurant and Bar’, but the old signs for the Newmarket Bar have been left in place on the front and side of the building.

Previously, there has been a chalkboard at the back door in the Leys Road Car Park advertising for bar, restaurant and kitchen staff. Krystoff’s closed in May 2021.

We’ve contacted the owners for more details, and as always, will bring you more information as we find it.
