A pyramid of bales in a field have won the hearts of thousands of people trudging along the A96 every day for the past week.
Now the bale art has won the overall prize from some 50 entries across Scotland.
The artwork was created by the Lower Speyside Young Farmers Club as part of the annual competition set by the Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs. This year the theme was ‘Stay at Home’ and was created near the Kinloss junction about two miles east of Forres.
It features a pink-wrapped bale styled as a pig socially distanced from other little piggies, and ‘isolated’ in a straw-bale ‘house’ to promote the ‘Keep Talking’ and ‘Are Ewe OK?’ campaigns which highlights mental health in the agriculture sector.
Second prize went to Bathgate JAC with ‘Let’s Beat Covid Hands Down’ and in third place was Forfar JAC with ‘Not All Heroes Wear Capes’.
