Searching for Bonnie: £500 finders’ fee offered for missing dog

[UPDATE] Bonnie has now been found.

———————–

Searchers combing the Council Wood on the southern edge of Forres have not managed to find any trace of Bonnie, the golden Labrador who went missing on Thursday.

Now Bonnie’s owners have offered a £500 finders’ fee for anyone who can locate the 17-year-old dog.

Dozens of people have scoured the woods between St Leonard’s Road and Muiry Wood in the hope of a sighting, but after 36 hours, the second night of darkness has fallen without success. Searchers have been out in the woods with a thermal imaging camera and a drone, but as yet no sighting has been reported.

Posts on Facebook have been shared more than 800 times but owners are now appealing for help with a £500 reward to anyone who can find Bonnie.

Bonnie went missing on a path near to the Council Wood Car Park at 11am on Thursday 12 Jan. She was wearing a purple collar and is microchipped.

If you have seen anything, please call Moray Coast Vet Group on 01309 672243, or take Bonnie to the vet surgery at Greshop.
