Scotland Loves Local Week: Babalu

This week (28 August to 3 September) we’re featuring town centre businesses to highlight the first Scotland Loves Local Week, which is championing the fabulous shops and business we have on our doorstep.

For more than 16 years, Laura Hanson has run her popular, quirky shop on the high street, and without a doubt, it brings people into the town centre.

With a massive range of alternative, ethnic and fair trade gifts and goodies including ornaments, jewellery, clothing, gemstones, books, toys, things that make you go ‘hmm’, and of course not forgetting the incense!

Laura said about her customers: “I feel part of a wonderful community here in Forres. My wee shop wouldn’t be the same without all you guys. The people of Forres and beyond keep us going.”

If you’ve never met Laura, see her in action here: https://www.facebook.com/BabaluForres/videos/2045036445895908/ 😂
