Crowds filled Grant Park for the return of the annual Bonfire and Fireworks Display. This year, the 5 November fell on a Saturday, so the Rotary Club of Forres were able to hold the event on Guy Fawkes Night.
Thousands of people could be seen gathered around the bonfire as it started slowly, but soon built to a roaring blaze. The fireworks thrilled everyone with a 20-minute show and people stayed for the food and fairground rides.
