Have your say.
Scotland’s food system is broken – now is our chance to fix it.
The Scottish Government has a public consultation on the go right now about a proposed new food law – the Good Food Nation Proposals for Legislation.
If you are concerned about health, the environment, workers’ rights, food poverty, access to land, local growing, animal welfare or any other issue intrinsically connected to our food system, then this is your opportunity to help shape the legal framework which can transition Scotland to a fairer, healthier, greener food system.
The public consultation is cumbersome, wordy, and dense, and we are concerned that it will put ordinary people off having their say about their food system.
That is why groups of us across Scotland are collaborating to make it more accessible to the public, and offering Consultation Clinics to help people to have their voices heard before the consultation closes on the 29th of March.
Please come along, and we can help you get your response sent off to the Scottish Government.
