WEDNESDAY 12TH OCTOBER 10-12: What makes a 50 tonne aeroplane fly?
Interactive workshop including making a wing, getting inside a cockpit & flying a simulator, follow the history trail and find the exhibits.
WEDNESDAY 19TH OCTOBER 10-12: What Makes a Helicopter Fly?
Interactive workshop including learn the basics of helicopter flight, launch your own rotor blade, get inside a helicopter cockpit, fly a simulator, follow the history trail and find the exhibits.
FRIDAY 21ST OCTOBER 10-12: What can you do with a camera? **New** (this is the next stage up from Photography Basics, our previous workshop)
Learn the use of different camera functions eg: aperture & shutter priorities; manipulating your images including levelling, cropping & brightening; downloading images; using software such as Photoshop. Weather dependent some of the class will be outside- please dress appropriately.
You will need a camera (A DSLR or a compact- we will have some available to borrow).
