Stories in Stone: The Falconer Museum

Moving on from the last years events celebrating 150 years of the opening of the Falconer Museum on 1 August 1872 ; this exhibition features thirteen coloured panels with photos and illustrations describing notable scientists and writers involved with the Falconer Museum who are depicted by the sculptured heads surrounding the exterior. There is also an accompanying display featuring the Friends of the Falconer Museum recently published anthology – Science and Imagination, which contains essays about the life and work of Hugh Falconer.
