£100 Million Moray Growth Deal
What is it and what does it mean for my business?

You are likely to have heard about Moray’s Growth Deal in the press, but what actually is it? How does affect your business? Does it? What is the impact on your Community?

These are all questions that will be answered at this series of events.

Join us to hear first hand from Moray Council on the what, why and hows of the Growth Deal. We will also be joined by the Project Managers of the relevant projects for full details on how the projects are progressing and your chance to support or become involved.

Aerospace, Technology, Innovation & STEM

Brief Overview:

Moray Aerospace and Advanced Technology and Innovation Campus

New build facility adjacent to RAF Lossiemouth.

Offers a range of UHI and license to practice Aviation qualifications.

Includes operational Boeing 737 and augmented reality simulation kit.

Advanced Technology Research and Development Lab covering a range of technologies, particularly those related to Aerospace, co-located with the HIE Manufacturing Innovation for Moray project.

Atrium with flexible open space, for community use including STEM activities.

Aims to; Meet the immediate training and technology needs of existing Moray-based industries, Provide the skilled workforce requirements for the emerging aerospace sector, and support research into cutting edge developments in aviation.

Early Years STEM

The development of creative indoor and outdoor hubs as a means of breaking down the barriers to STEM in young people (ages 3-8), and ultimately improving on interest and participation in STEM, particularly amongst young girls, and so rebalancing the regional economy.

The project is part of a long term strategy to systematically change cultural preconceptions and build STEM capital, benchmarking best practice for future developments across Scotland
